Body-focused group therapy for treatment of trauma-related mental illness

The impact of trauma manifests in different mental and somatic conditions. Body oriented therapy is evidence based. This project aims to provide psychomotor therapy at an early stage in collaboration with 3 mental health institutes and UMC Utrecht. This will be monitored with research, as well as evaluated and improved together with peer support workers.

Objective 

This project aims to make body based interventions broadly available at an early stage.

Results

An implementation manual for working with body based interventions including visuals.

Approach

Both quantitative as qualitative research will be conducted to optimize the interventions.
