Dr. Wilke van Beest has been a researcher at the research group of Research Competence since 2015. Her research mainly focuses on planning, monitoring and evaluating of meaningful practice-based research for all participating parties.
In 2023, Wilke received her doctorate in research on the implementation of innovations resulting from practice-based research. One of the outcomes of this doctoral research is the Research Pathway Model with an associated conversation tool (link: Research Pathway Model (RPM) | Creative Research Methods (husite.nl)). The Research Pathway Model helps researchers, together with all stakeholders, to gain insight into appropriate and valuable research methods during a research project and what those methods can achieve per step for all stakeholders involved.
