After this exchange programme, you'll be able to create more impactful designs for your concepts, pitches, presentations and other professional products. Next to creation, you will be stronger in your assessment and advice on creative work. On top of this, you’ll also have access to new forms of expression to explore your own creativity.

Course content

What do you need to enter this programme? And what can you expect when you apply? In this section you'll find all you need to know!

A picture says more than a thousand words. Today’s (creative) industries expect higher attention to visual presentation. Not everyone can produce, choose, or assess a good and impactful design. With this programme, you'll get closer to that.

We will connect professional practice through real briefs, invite guest lecturers, take field trips to creative and art-oriented places (such as museums, art-shows, shops, workshops). Attendance to this extracurricular activities is encouraged, but not mandatory.

Would you like to know more about this programme or do you have a specific question? Please contact the programme and academic coordinator David van der Merwe.

In our course guide you can find all relevant information about the programme in one practical document. You can download it here for your convenience.

There are no specific entry requirements for this exchange programme. No artistic talent is required, but you should be excited to creatively explore analogue and digital forms of expression.

Practical information

When you move to a different country to study, there are lots of things to arrange. For instance, where will you live, how much are the costs? Visit our practical information page to help you prepare your stay. It is also important to start arranging a living space as soon as possible. Our housing pages will help you on your way. A student living in the Netherlands needs about € 800 - 1000 a month to cover living expenses, such as housing, food and transportation. This includes insurances – health insurance is mandatory.
