Challenges in Medication Assistance by informal caregivers

Many informal caregivers help their loved one, often a partner or father or mother, with medication. In this project, we asked informal caregivers what is challenging in medication help for their loved one and what helps them to assist their loved one with medication.

Objective

We ask informal caregivers about current medication assistance for their loved one, the challenges they face, and what can help them in this process.

Results

The results will be presented on this page in 2025.

Duration

01 November 2024 - 07 January 2025

Approach

We use a questionnaire that we send to more than 20,000 individuals from a patient panel of ‘AMP Research & Advice in Healthcare’ who regularly visit the pharmacy to collect medication.
