Elvira Gunter-Joldersma is a lecturer, coach and coordinator at the HU Creative Business programme. Her teaching areas are effective communication, consumer behaviour, marketing, professional identity, especially the human focus in all courses and psychology.
Biography
She has a degree in Communication and obtained a Master's in Business Economics at the VU in Amsterdam. And she studied Business Economics at the Universita Cattaneo in Italy. She worked at two pharmaceutical companies. Then she started as a lecturer in Communication skills, intercultural communication and management at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. Since 2009 she is working with a lot of enthusiasm and with a great, intercultural team of lecturers, for Creative Business. She has been year coordinator of year 1 and year 2, faculty coordinator of the study coach programme for the institute Communication and Media, coordinator of the study coach programme for the previous programme International Communication and Media (now CB), internship coach, study coach, graduation coach and lecturer in the following courses: Communicating Organisation, Leadership Skills, Intercultural Communication, Marketing Principles, Future Work. At the moment she is a lecturer in the courses Consumer Behaviour, Effective Communication and Professional Identity. She has a strong drive and passion to coach students to find their true potential and to see that they are developing their skills, so it can be used for their future profession.
