Emelieke Huisman

Emelieke Huisman MSc is a researcher (PhD candidate) at the Research group Technology for healthcare innovations and lecturer at the Institute for the Built Environment within the Urban and Area Development master’s programme.

Within the Research group Technology for healthcare innovations, she is currently working on her doctoral research, which bears the working title 'Corporate Real Estate Management creates added value for building design: Environmental factors for sustainable healthcare facilities'. Emelieke is currently conducting this doctoral research at the Research group Technology for healthcare innovations and at the Eindhoven University of Technology.

She also works on projects that focus on how the built environment might contribute to people's well-being. Emelieke is coordinator of the minor Technology and Care and the summer course Health & Engineering.
