Gill Merill

Lecturer-researcher

Gill Merrill has been working as a researcher within the Finance Economic Innovation Lectorate since May 2024 with a focus on decision-making, consumer behaviour, and behavioral economics. She's also a Lecturer at the Institute of International Business Studies. 

Experience in government grant applications related to practical business research questions (i.e., business performance, resilience, change, etc.), marketing (branding, marketing strategy, digital marketing) and consumer behaviour (decision-making, biases, behavioural economics) using innovative research methods such as biometrics and hormones.

Through my research, I intend to create greater clarity about how humans make decisions based on their physiological and unconscious reactions to positively impact business strategy and policy-making.
