Kristina Goodnight

PhD candidate

Kristina has been working at the HU as a lecturer in English since 2010. She specialises in American culture, fluency and the connection between drama and teaching methodology, at both the bachelor’s and master’s level. At the Research Group Foreign Language Education, Kristina conducts doctoral research into drama techniques in foreign language education.

Kristina is originally from the Unites States. She holds a bachelor's degree in drama and English from the University of California, and a master's degree in drama writing from Saint Mary's College in California. Kristina always applies her background in drama during her language lessons.

She obtained her teaching qualification from Sacramento State University. Before she moved to the Netherlands, she worked as an English/drama teacher at a high school.
