Linda Boissevain

Lecturer-researcher

Linda Boissevain has been involved as a researcher with the Financial Economic Innovation research group since 2023. From within the research group, she is participating in the research project "Female Investment" (pre-phase).

Linda obtained her Master’s degree in Business Economics (Finance) in 1995 from Tilburg University and in 2021 her first-degree teaching qualification in business economics/economics through the master's program at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. She worked for over 25 years in the financial sector as a Corporate Finance advisor and corporate banking professional. Through these roles, she not only gained extensive financial knowledge but also built a broad network within Dutch business.

Since 2021, she has been working as a lecturer in Finance & Control at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and is a member of the Joint Educational Committee. With her pragmatic approach, willingness to think “outside the box,” and no-nonsense mentality, her goal is to raise awareness of diversity and inclusion issues within the financial sector. She believes there is still much progress to be made in this area.
