Biography
Having graduated with a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Amsterdam (UvA), Nicoleta built her marketing career in the tech industry. As part of the global in-house Creative Agency at TomTom, the location technology specialist, she was involved in creative projects as a copywriter and content strategist.
Later on, Nicoleta played a key role in repositioning TomTom as the location technology specialist. She did so through developing the company’s first thought leadership programme, running positioning workshops for its executives, launching the TomTom Blog and acting as its editor-in-chief.
In 2020, Nicoleta made the move to higher education, joining the Creative Business programme at the HU. She now uses her professional network and expertise in marketing, technology and coaching by teaching, developing and coordinating courses, such as Content Marketing, Influencing your Audiences, Principles of Communication, Professional Identity, International Creative Business and Study and Career Coaching. Since 2021, Nicoleta is also a member of the Curriculum Committee at Creative Business.
