After I graduated from engineering, all my career steps took me further away from the technical and closer to people. I finally found my dream job in teaching and coaching. I am passionate about personal development and career planning.
Biography
Rita has graduated from her Chemical Engineering Degree (5 years) in 2015, after which she moved to the Netherlands to pursue her Master’s degree in Management of Technology, at TU Delft. There, the focus of her thesis was Creativity, Ethics and Responsible Innovation.
On a professional front, she has worked for companies in the FMCG industry (Unilever and Kraft Heinz) on various roles, ranging from R&D to marketing to project management. After a few years, Rita started her own business as a career coach and online trainer for big recruitment processes, helping hundreds of Brazilian students get a spot in Graduate programs in multinationals. This made her realize her true passion: teaching. She joined CB in April 2022 and has since taught courses such as Technology, Growth Hacking, Entrepreneurship, Content Marketing, and has developed and taught the new version of Professional Identity. She had also been a study coach for years 2 and 4.
Rita is deeply passionate about personal development and helping students build up on their strengths. She loves talking about personality and human behavior, and is fascinated by the uniqueness of each person.

Research themes
In my bachelors, I have done research focused on the food industry, mostly around rheology and tribology. In my masters, the focus of my thesis was on Creativity, Ethics and Responsible Innovation. I have not published any papers on the subjects.
