Sandra Prent

Lecturer-researcher
Sandra Prent started in 2023 as a lecturer-researcher within the professorship of Innovation in Movement Care. Her focus revolves around e-health and fall prevention for the elderly. Additionally, she serves as a lecturer in the Master's program for Geriatric Physiotherapy and the Bachelor's programs for Physiotherapy and Exercise Therapy.

Originally, Sandra Prent is a geriatric physiotherapist. She has extensive experience in geriatric rehabilitation, where she specialized in neurorehabilitation alongside geriatrics. In 2016, she began combining her practice with bachelor education at the Hogeschool Arnhem Nijmegen. Connecting the field with education is an essential aspect for her. Since 2021, she has shifted her educational activities to the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
From 2022 onwards, she is fully employed by the Hogeschool Utrecht (HU), where she initiated research from the Health and Well-being Center focused on the theme of 'recovery support after a period of illness.’
