This master programme prepares you to teach German language and literature to the higher classes of Dutch higher secondary and tertiary education (HAVO, VWO and HBO in Dutch). Instead of spending a great deal of time in-class, you will be spending most of your time teaching teens and young adults at the school where you work. The combination of one day a week at HU, and the rest of the week actually teaching is ideal.

Teaching German at a higher level

Do you want to speak and write German at a near-native level? Take a step up from your bachelor's degree with this part-time master's programme. Afterwards, the German language won't hold any secrets for you! You will spend most of your time in front of the class, teaching teenagers and young adults.

What’s your tuition fee?

Additionally, you can expect to pay between € 350 and € 380 per year for books, materials and excursions.
