Action repertoire of innovators in educational innovation

Educational innovations do not proceed as a linear, tightly planned process, but rather erratically in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) environment. Educational innovators need some kind of intuition, or situational awareness, to act and steer the innovation process in the right direction. In this PhD project, Ansfrida investigates the action repertoire of educational innovators.

Objective

The purpose of this research is to understand what action repertoire innovators use at critical moments and how this affects the course of educational innovations. The research aims to contribute to successful progress of VUCA educational innovations by developing a desirable action repertoire.
