Research on regional knowledge networks

Knowledge networks in the Dutch educational field have entered a new phase due to formalization and scaling. They focus on development of educational professionals and organizations, are nested systems with collective responsibility for cross-organizational educational issues. Knowledge about the effectiveness of networks must be re-translated to the current situation.

Goal

This research maps 12 regional knowledge networks: how they function as a complex system, what the returns are and under what conditions they occur. The goal is to formulate design guidelines for optimal, sustainable processes of knowledge development, sharing and utilization in regional knowledge networks.

Results

  • Design guidelines for optimal, sustainable processes of knowledge development, sharing and utilization in regional knowledge networks
  • Annual reflection sessions for the knowledge networks
  • Guiding principles for the knowledge networks and the whole educational practice
  • Scientific articles and contributions to conferences

Duration
