Edith Raap is, since 2012, teacher at the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht in theory and practice of Parenthood and Parenting. She does research on Chronic Sorrow of parents with a child with a disability or chronic disease.
Edith worked in Parenting Support and got convinced of the value of theory on parenthood and the lack of it in many methods on parenting support. She translates her knowledge on parenthood in theory and practice. She also guides moral deliberation sessions for Youth Care workers.
