Han van Dijk works as a researcher within the research group Lifestyle and Health of the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. He currently performs his PhD-research into how physiotherapists in primary care settings can be better equipped to approach people with chronic pain from a biopsychosocial perspective.
Han has experience working as a Physiotherapist and Manual Therapist in both primary and secondary care for over 15 years. He has collaborated with several pain clinics in assessment and treatment of patients with chronic pain. Since 2013 he combines this with working as a lecturer for the Bachelor’s degree of Physiotherapy at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
