Harry Rorije
Harry Rorije has been working for more than 20 years as a change consultant on all kinds of innovations in various organizations. Since 2016, his specialization has been guiding changes in education. His motive is that education tries to improve for learners.
Harry investigates how changes in education will lead to success and how
teachers can play an important role in this. In addition, he teaches in the field of
change management and educational innovation in two Master's programs and
he supervises educational innovations at secondary schools and within the
Hogeschool Utrecht.
An important motivation for Harry is that education can always be better and
more inspiring for students. Unfortunately, many educational innovations fail.
That is annoying for both teachers and students. Harry wants to contribute from
research to educational innovations that inspire students and that lecturers can be
proud of.
