Jacqueline Nuysink

Researcher

Jacqueline Nuysink PhD (1953) has been a post-doc researcher at the Research group Lifestyle and Health since 2013. Within this research group she is the project leader of the GODIVA studies. She is also a co-promoter for Marike Boonzaaijer and Imke van Maren Suir.

  • 2013 - present: Senior researcher for the Research group Lifestyle and Health and the Child and Movement research programme
  • 2005 - present: Head and senior lecturer of the specialisation Paediatric Physiotherapy, HU
  • 2012 Doctoral defence at Utrecht University
  • 2007-2012 Doctoral research at the Wilhelmina children's hospital / UMCU, on the prevalence of and risk factors for preferential positioning and skull deformation among babies born prematurely. Jacqueline also developed a screening instrument for recognising asymmetry caused by underlying disease.
