Jenny Zwijnenburg
Jenny Zwijnenburg has been working as a Professional Doctorate candidate within the lectorate of Housing and Welfare since July 1, 2024. Her project focuses on the further development of the intervention 'Support-nets', in order to optimally contribute to reducing social isolation.
Jenny is a social worker. She focuses her social work and research on alleviating social isolation. The intervention ‘Support-nets’, which she developed, focuses on establishing mutual support between participants. The intervention is registered in the Movisie database of effective interventions.

In a Support-net, people in social isolation become meaningful to each other. This relieves their social isolation and is incredibly valuable. Of course, a Support-net does not develop by itself. I hope that my project will contribute to the successful and sustainable development of Support-nets.
