Litska Strikwerda has been a senior researcher with the research groups Digital Ethics and Care and Security since March 1, 2024. She also serves as a senior lecturer in Integral Security Studies, where she focuses primarily on the Digital Security master's program.
Litska studied law and applied ethics. She worked at several universities where she gained extensive research experience on ethical issues surrounding criminal law and technology. For her dissertation entitled "Virtual acts, real crimes?", on the criminality of virtual conduct, she received the Erasmus Praemium Dissertation Prize in 2016.
