Marije Verkerk

PhD candidate

Marije Verkerk is a PhD-candidate who joined the research group Normative Professionalisation in September 2020. Her focus is on the role of sensemaking among young adults

Marije graduated from Leiden University with two Masters: one in ‘Religion in Contemporary Society’ (2010) and one in teaching religious education (2014). She teaches worldview education at Stanislascollege in Delft, and she is a member of 'Religion Education', a working group of the Dutch Association for the Study of Religion.
