Mario has been working as Senior Data Scientist for Research Center Digital Business & Media since December 2022; he is the team leader of the Data Science Pool (DSP). The DSP supports the HU community in Data Science projects.

Mario has a background in Computer Science, oriented to high performance computational methods in Scientific Computing (PhD, 2016). Since 2016 he has worked both in industrial and research environments in different topics, among others: Signal Processing, Data Analysis, Machine Learning and Geo-Science. He is skilled in Projects Development, Data-driven modeling and Systems Engineering.

The main goal of his activity at HU is to provide effective support to researchers and the HU community in Data Science related questions and projects; Data Analysis, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are a few of the topics we work with.
