Michiel van der Ven

Dr. Michiel van der Ven RT, is Assistant Professor at the research group Financial Economic Innovation. Within this role he supervises researchers and honours students and carries out practice-oriented research in Finance & Control. Michiel also works as a senior lecturer and is projectmanager of "The Digital Accountant".

Michiel obtained his doctorate in information Systems in Delft. He built a Decision Support System for transfer pricing at Akzo Nobel in collaboration with software company Infor. 800 copies of the thesis have been sold in 12 countries. In addition, his solution was presented to the European Industry in London Hilton.
