Peter Westerveld

For the past 23 years I’ve worked in interim assignments and projects to make companies and government organizations more resilient to cyber security threats. In addition to this, I was asked to use my knowledge, experience and network for the Cyber Security lectorate. Together with the lector and other colleagues, I am committed to build the lectorate by, among other things, defining research areas, expanding the professional network and arranging publications. In addition, I submit my knowledge in the subject of security operations to the new master digital security.

The larger goal is to make the Netherlands more resilient and robust against digital threats. This starts with training enough subject matter experts to help companies and organizations achieve this goal.
