Rachelle has been working in the Participation, Care and Support research group since May 2024. Prior to this, she graduated within the same professorship. Rachelle was involved in the 'experiential knowledge in higher education' project.
Through the 'Double Talents in Higher Education' project, Rachelle is linked to the Social Work and Nursing courses.
Rachelle wants to contribute to ensuring that experiential knowledge is valued and better used. It is an important source of knowledge in the social work field and in education that is not always recognized as such. In addition, there are also certain (pre)judgments that can make working with experiential knowledge difficult. Rachelle wants to discuss this and create awareness about what education and practice can do with this.
