Sietske Tacoma
Sietske Tacoma has been working as a researcher within the research group Artificial Intelligence since 2021. She is especially interested in the use of new AI techniques in smaller organisations and in the possibilities for using AI in Education.

Sietske obtained her PhD-degree from Utrecht University, on Automated intelligent feedback in university statistics education. She also used to work as an educational designer and software developer of (digital) mathematics education. She now teachers within the master and minor Data Driven Business and the bachelor program Human Resources Management.
In her postdoc project, Sietske focuses on the possibilities for smaller organisations to use new AI techniques such as transfer learning and foundation models. Together with organisations in health, public services and media, Sietske explores issues organisations encounter when implementing new AI techniques.
