Sjoerd van den Heuvel
Sjoerd van den Heuvel PhD is researcher in the Research group Organising Decent Work. His research focuses on the development, implementation and acceptance of People Analytics (also known as HR Analytics or Workforce Analytics). In addition, he works as a senior lecturer for the Labour & Organisation degree programme.
In addition to his activities as a researcher, Sjoerd guides and supports organisations in the development and execution of People Analytics activities, organises trainings and is a regular speaker at Dutch and international People Analytics conferences. He teaches People Analytics as a subject within HU University of Applied Sciences’ Human Resource Management degree programme and at the FHR Institute in Suriname.

In the period before joining HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Sjoerd worked as a HR consultant for Capgemini Consulting and PostNL and as a university lecturer at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Twente.
