Tamar Tas

Dr. T.F. Tas (Tamar) is a senior researcher in the field of teacher training and teacher professionalization.

As a member of the research group Working in Education, Tamar conducts research to support the teacher training colleges for primary and secondary education. Her focus is on increasing the quality of teaching, bridging initial training with the induction phase and the quality of training of second career teachers.

Tamar has written her Ph.D. dissertation on the process of learning to teach and the professionalization of teacher trainers (2020). She has extensive experience with elementary and secondary education. Tamar has worked at different schools and teacher training colleges as a lecturer, teacher trainer, coach, and supervisor.
