Tim van Eijl
Tim has been affiliated with HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht since September 2016. Before accepting this position at the HU, he acquired a master’s degree in Applied Communication Science, during which he focussed on the function of communication regarding societal issues. Prior to this, Tim worked in various commercial and public organisations.
His primary interests are in the areas of communication for behavioural change, digital communication and health communication. Tim is therefore involved in corresponding research projects within the HU. Some examples include: an evaluation study of the nutritional app Eetmeter, the further development of the Touchpoints binnen het onderwijs (Touchpoints within education) project, as well as the projects Active After Stroke, MOVES and Fietsen met Focus (Cycling with Focus).
Tim also plays a connecting role in other ongoing research projects and is involved as a communications consultant for various research groups of the Research Centre for Innovation in Business and Communication. His input seeks to ensure the accessibility of the research results, insights and knowledge that are accumulated by these research projects.
