ShareDiMobiHub

Making urban mobility more sustainable and accessible is crucial for both health and quality of life of citizens. ShareDiMobiHub

aims to improve urban multi-modal accessibility by increasing the introduction and uptake of (digital-)mobility hubs with shared mobility options.

Objective

Seven partner cities and regions from four countries in the North Sea Region (Interreg) will implement different strategies to increase the uptake of shared and digital mobility hubs. The project will use pilots and implement upscaling plans as well as develop and adopt upscaling strategies to promote shared mobility.

Results

In collaboration with the Province of Utrecht, the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht is responsible for creating, implementing, and executing upscaling plans for (new) mobility hubs in the Province of Utrecht (including a digitalization plan).

Duration

20 September 2022 - 30 September 2025

Approach

To achieve the desired results, various actions are taken, including creating frameworks, developing communication materials, and focusing on data standardization in relation to shared mobility. Additionally, research is conducted on location selection for shared mobility hubs, and efforts are made towards implementing Mobility as a Service (MaaS).
