Dieke van Ewijk

Dieke van Ewijk is Researcher at the Research Centre for Social Innovation at the HU University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht. With a MSc in Urbanism from Delft University of Technology and a MSW in Community Development from the HU, she enjoys working on projects where societal and spatial challenges meet.

Dieke’s fields of interest include the impact of the built environment on social interaction, community building, and innovative housing concepts for people in vulnerable positions, such as the elderly or homeless. Outside of HU, she volunteers at the homeless shelter of the Tussenvoorziening in Utrecht.
