Dorien Ginsel
Dorien Ginsel has been working as a lecturer-researcher at the Research group Innovation of Movement Care at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht since 2016. Dorien is a certified physiotherapist and obtained a master’s degree in Healthcare Design.
Her research activities are related to the theme 'Integrating new technology in movement care'. She combines her work as a researcher with teaching and innovating professional practice and education. She does this from the Institute for Movement Studies (IBS) at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.

She is also the project leader of the Fysio Future Lab, an initiative of the Research group Innovation of Movement Care. Its aim is to stimulate the connection between education, research and professional practice in the field of 'movement care technology'. Within the IBS, she is involved in projects in which innovation and knowledge valorisation are paramount. She also works as a lecturer for the musculoskeletal section of the Physiotherapy degree programme.
