In the research group Innovations in Preventive Care, Jannemiek Sonneveld MSc is involved in research into the Interprofessional approach to prevention and the promotion of health and healthy behaviour.

Since 2008 she has been working as a lecturer in the Optometry program. She is an optometrist and an orthoptist and obtained a master’s degree in Management in Education in 2013.
On September 1st, 2022, she started her Ph.D. research in the field of public health, interprofessional collaboration, and community-based health promotion. Her action research largely takes place within the field labs of PREVENT, a collaborative program aimed at integrated community-based prevention.
