Marije Kesselring has been affiliated as a researcher at the Research group Youth since 2017. The focus of her research is on reinforcing child development and the raising children within families, neighbourhoods and basic educational facilities.
After studying Nursing and acquiring a master's in Youth, Education and Society, Marije worked in various research, education and policy positions. For her dissertation 'Partners in Parenting: A study on shared childrearing responsibilities between parents and nonparental adults', she conducted research into the joint efforts of citizens and professionals in raising and educating children.
