Dr. Mieke Koeslag-Kreunen is Professor of the Research Group Working in Education and Director of the Research Centre for Learning and Innovation. Her research focuses on the professional profile, work organization, and professional development of (new) professionals working in education.
Mieke obtained her PhD in Leadership for team learning (Maastricht University, 2018) and holds a teacher bachelor (2002) and a master in Educational Sciences (2004). She was a lecturer, led educational innovations, coached teams and was a researcher at Zuyd University. Mieke is also an associate researcher at Maastricht University.
Mieke aims to find innovative opportunities that increase educational quality and job satisfaction. She combines insights from practice and educational and organizational sciences in her work. Her research supports HU-Zwaartepunt Educatie in collaboration with schools for education , Teaching & Learning Network, HR, OO&S, Centre of Expertise Talent & Skill, and external partners.
