Rosa de Vries has been working as a researcher and designer at the Co-Design Research Group since 2016. With a passion for human-centered design, she combines technical and creative skills to work on complex issues together with different target groups in a design manner.
Within the research group, Rosa has mainly focused on projects in the healthcare domain, with inclusion as an important theme. Setting up and facilitating co-design sessions, writing articles, guiding students and designing and creating tools and products are part of her tasks within these projects.
"A co-design session is always reciprocal, everyone can contribute something and also learns something! I also hope to give participants a fun experience"
In addition, she started the Master's in Community Development at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences in 2022, which has proven to be a valuable addition because complex projects increasingly demand the formation of sustainable communities that feel ownership of both the problems they encounter and the 'co-designed' solutions!
