Corelien Kloek works as a senior researcher at the Innovation in Movement Care research group at Hogeschool Utrecht, where she leads the theme of ‘integration of new technology in movement care’.
Corelien supervises various PhD students, junior researchers and interns on projects related to the development, evaluation and implementation of digital health. Corelien has specific knowledge of self-management support, apps, wearables and AI. In addition to research, she is also involved in integrating healthcare technology into the bachelor’s and master’s education at the Institute for Movement Studies.
In her work, Corelien strives to turn the potential of digital health into reality. She achieves this by collaborating with patients, healthcare providers, students, and companies to develop relevant technology and ensure its sustainable use.
