Di-Janne has been professor of the research group Innovation of Movement Care since 2025. She connects the four research lines of the research group: Digital applications in movement care, Physical self-reliance during hospitalization, Community-based physiotherapy and Behavioral change towards a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. She aims to contribute to good and accessible movement care for everyone by working together with professionals, students, and citizens
From 2016 to 2025, Di-Janne was already affiliated with the research group Innovation of Movement Care as a researcher, where she led research projects in the field of "Community-based physiotherapy". After becoming a certified physiotherapist in 2007,she obtained her master’s degree in Physiotherapy Science in 2010. In 2018 she was conferred a PhD for her research into personalised, non-surgical care for patients suffering from osteoarthritis of the hip and/or knee.
From 2010 to 2016, she worked as a junior researcher for the NIVEL research institute.
